Neverland is a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre organization. We have currently (as of September 2018) put on 7 shows, including Bring The Magic BackAlice in Neverland, Neverland Express, and Neverland Rocks. We love to have fun, teach kids how to put on a show, how to act, and even a little bit about how to sing! Our Neverland team is pretty awesome, too. We have our Director – Cheryl Burns, our Music Director – Stephen Piper, and our choreographer – Sherry Winn.

Cheryl has had the pleasure of working with every student who has been part of Neverland Children’s Theatre and is looking forward to creating new theatrical experiences for them this year. Cheryl has been Executive Director of Art Night Bristol Warren & the Community String Project, a senior staff member at Just Dance! and former Company Manager of the Island Moving Co., Newport’s Contemporary Ballet Company. Cheryl holds her MFA in Theatre and has Directed, Choreographed and performed in many productions. She has been a member of Americans for the Arts, DanceUSA, National Dance Education Organization and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She lives in Bristol with her children Benjamin and Emilie.

Sherry Winn is the owner/Director of Just Dance! located at 569 Main Street Warren, RI. Sherry has 42 years of dance experience and is a mother of three children who understands how precious each child is and treats every child as if they were her own. Sherry is a certified in all areas of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, acrobatics as well as cardio dance. The entire recital theme annually is produced around the charity of that year.

Stephen Piper is a classically trained singer who studied Music Theory and Voice at Hobart College. Early in his music career, he performed at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC and made a living as a solo piano player throughout the Eastern US and later in Dublin, Ireland. An amateur composer, Stephen has returned to music to be the musical director of Neverland Children’s theater company where he composes and performs original music and trains children in elements of music and singing.

Amanda Chace stepped on stage for her first dance recital at age 10 and quickly fell in love. Throughout her school years, she performed in many recitals, musicals, and festivals. She later became the student choreographer for her high school theater company. She has also taken classes from many different master choreographers. Today Amanda is an elementary school teacher and dance teacher at Just Dance!. She enjoys teaching and sharing her love of dance with all of her students.
